Additional charges that may apply
(1) plus GST (2) plus $50 for basement suite (3) plus $350 for carriage house or separate suite building (4) plus $70 for each additional garage or carport (5) plus $75 for all homes built 1970 or earlier All Fees must be paid in full on the day of the inspection prior to inspection reports being released.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
We understand that real estate transactions can change quickly. However, inspection appointments reserve a significant block of time in our schedule and short-notice cancellations can be difficult to refill.
The following cancellation fees apply:
- More than 48 hours’ notice: No cancellation fee
- 24–48 hours’ notice: $150 cancellation fee
- Less than 24 hours’ notice: $250 cancellation fee
Cancellation fees may also apply when an inspection is rescheduled with insufficient notice.
We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise, and cancellation fees may be waived at the discretion of Okanagan Inspections where appropriate.
